I am having so much fun with MDS 2! You guys have to give it a try! Over the weekend I came across some photos of my kids breaking out their inner Picasso and just had to scrap it. I wanted the layout to have a fun, messy look like my kids made the page.
Doesn’t it look like my daughter just continued to paint across the layout? The new ink splatter tool really helps to give it a young, artistic feel. There are 6 different ink splatter configurations and you can manipulate them by changing their size and color. I made some of the spatter Gumball Green and some Wisteria Wonder. I tried to pick a shade of purple that was similar to my daughter’s shirt.
The new ink spatter tool is just 1 of the 70+ new features of MDS2. Some of my other favorite new features are:
SUGGESTED COLOR COMBOS: See expertly coordinated color combo ideas in the Color Palette
DESIGN IN SPREADS: Design on two pages, side-by-side
BRUSH TOOL: Create freehand art with different brush sizes and shapes—perfect for line art

CHANGE PUNCH SHAPE: Change punch to another punch shape and maintain filled pattern
RECOLOR EMBELLISHMENTS: Monochromatically change the color of an embellishment
