1 Halloween Themed Embellishment 2 Party Favors

Halloween is just around the corner and of course my kids have a few Halloween parties to attend. They are super excited! My youngest who will be dressed as Belle is in preschool and they will be having a little party during school. We signed up to bring a non-food party favor. In addition my BFF since forever has a party on Halloween. We go to her house to eat, play games and of course trick or treat. I figured since I had to make some party favors for my little one I might as well make some favors for the other party.

 

I designed 1 embellishment but used it in 2 different ways. The first is as a topper for a narrow cello bag with a Halloween pencil.

 

 

For the second design I took the pencil topper and added it to a bag topper to create this Halloween party favor filled with treats!

 

 

 

The design is simple on purpose – the kids don’t really care about the decoration – they want the treat! Hehehe! Plus they are super easy and quick to make by using the Big Shot and some punches. Here is the supply list to create these embellishments:

 

Stamp sets: Mixed Medley (hostess), Googly Ghouls (available in wood mount and clear mount)

Ink: Stazon Jet Black

Card Stock: Basic Black, Garden Green, Rich Razzleberry

Punches: 1.25” scallop circle, 1.75” circle, 1-3/8” circle

Big Shot and Die:  Perfect Pennants Bigz L Note: if you want to make the bag topper you will also need the Top Note Die

*altered clip board

*set of 8 birthday cards

 

Here is a sample of the altered clip board using the Patio Party Designer Series Paper. This kids will love this fun party paper! All of the projects will be using this DSP.

 

This class is geared for kids age 7-15. Space is limited – only 4 spots remain! Class fee includes all supplies to make the 3 projects plus their own adhesive and light snack!

June Kids Club Classes features the Totally Tool stamp set, just for dad!

Next Saturday June 18^th I have my Kids Club class. At this hour long class the children will be using the Totally Tool stamp set to make a gift card holder just for dad – the perfect Father’s Day gift! You can find the Totally Tool stamp set (item # 113256) in the Idea Book and Catalog. Here are the stamp images in this five piece stamp set.

The gift card holder uses an unexpected item to create its shape – a toilet paper roll! The kids are going to have a great time squishing the toilet paper roll flat with the Big Shot machine! They love making things with the Big Shot.

April Kids Club class – seats still available!

 
This month’s Kids Club theme is Mother’s Day! The kids will be making a card and coordinating gift bag featuring the Messages for Mom stamp set (IBC p50). This set is so very versatile and good for all things mom from Mother’s Day to mom’s birthday and everything in between. Here are the class samples:

 

The colors are Certainly Celery and So Saffron with a hint of Pretty in Pink. Green and pink is a classic color combination that has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid.   

 

Class will be held on Saturday April 16^th from 10-11am. The $6 class fee includes the card and gift bag.  Space is limited and registration closes on April 13th. Oh, by the way when you attend 3 Kids Club classes, get the 4^th class for half price!
