Hello! It’s good to be back! I took a few weeks off in preparation of my sister’s wedding. It was this past weekend and it was perfect in every way! Beautiful bride, beautiful weather – fun had by all! Today I have a couple pictures from the big day to share with you as well as the monochromatic wedding card I made for her and her new husband. I know you are interested in seeing the wedding pics so I’ll stop jabbering and get to it – lol
So this first picture is with my 2 sisters and my parents. Doesn't she look beautiful!!
Here she is with the flower girls. The two little blond hairded girls are my daughters.
And the kiss!
Now let’s get to the card! It took a super long time to create this card but I think the results were worth it! I was inspired by a card in Paper Crafts magazine.
I used the Big Shot and the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder to create the textured panel. I assembled the card except for the bow [I wrapped the ribbon but attached the bow at the very end with a strong adhesive]. The I attached mini Basic Pearls to the entire card front. It took forever to attach the pearls. I had to do a few and then stop. The little pop of blue is Island Indigo. It is pretty close to the shade of teal we wore at the wedding. What do you think of this card? I’d love to know!
