What is the largest number of pictures you have used on a scrapbook layout? Prior to creating this layout I think mine was 12 but that was across 2 pages. I outdid myself this time as I got 16 photos on this single page scrapbook layout! Wow!
My inspiration for this layout came from Pinterest. I love Pinterest don’t you! So many great ideas!
I am trying to catch up with some layouts for 2011. I realized I hardly scrapped 2011 at all and I was feeling guilty – you understand, right?? When I came across this layout on Pinterest I knew it would be perfect to highlight the events in December 2011. Each photo measures 2x2. Making a grid keeps everything looking neat and tidy and not overwhelming. I kept the journaling to a minimum just listing the various events in the box below the photo grid. An oversized title balances out the large group of pictures.
I used MDS2 to create this scrapbook page. MDS2 is Stampin’ Up!’s digital paper crafting program. I actually made 3 versions of this layout – 1 for each of my kids! I created the layout once in MDS2 and then copied it twice switching out the single pictures and tweaking the journaling and viola! Three layouts done in a lot less time then what it would have taken me if I did them all traditionally with paper, etc.
