Today I have 3 cards to share with you featuring this set. Look closely – I used the same design and the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack (Spring 2013 Catalog) for all three cards! Even though they have the same design, they each have a different feel and look. In addition I water colored the stamped images with a blender pen and ink. If you have not tried the blender pens before you must give them a try! Blender pens combine the flexibility of watercolors with the convenience of markers. They are really easy to use and use can use 1 blender pen for multiple colors; just wipe off the tip on some scratch paper until you no longer see any color and then you can move onto your next shade.
The first version is a miss you card. The primary color is Gumball Green with some Summer Starfruit and a little bit of Midnight Muse. I love the Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin ribbon on this card! Don’t you!
The next card is a thank you card. The primary color is Summer Starfruit. I embellished the card with mini Dahlia flowers. I raised the stamped panel up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The last card is perfect for your Valentine and is mostly pink specifically Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple. I used a bunch of Stampin’ Dimensionals to give the stamped panel a lot of pop.
Gosh I love all these cards – not sure if I have a favorite! Do you have one you like the most? I love that this versatile design gave me a great base and structure for 3 different cards. Don’t be surprised if you see this sketch again – I have a feeling it is going to become one of my go-to card designs!
