I love the vintage look and feel of the Wondrous Wishes stamp set (wood mount, clear mount) from the Stampin’ Up! 2012 Holiday Catalog! I love how all the kids are trying to get on Santa’s lap so they can share their wish list with him – so sweet! Today I have a gift tag and Christmas card to share with you using this set.
With Christmas approaching quickly this simple gift tag will come in very handy!
I stamped the Santa image slightly off the tag in Early Espresso ink and the greeting in Cherry Cobbler ink. The sentiment is from my go-to holiday greeting stamp set: More Merry Messages (wood mount, clear mount). I used Very Vanilla paper scrap to create the tag. Tags are a great way to use up those pesky scraps.
The next project is a card. I used blender pens and a variety of inks to color in the stamped image.
