Ahoy buccaneers! As you guys know a few weeks ago my son had his pirate themed birthday party. (You can check out the super cool message in a bottle invites we made here and the fun party day here). Instead of making thank you cards by hand I made digital thank you cards using My Digital Studio – Stampin’ Up!’s digital paper crafting program.
Isn't it cool! I really love how these cards came out!
The background paper is from the retired Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper (Summer Mini 2011). On top of the digital background paper I digitally stamp the compass and ship from The Open Sea Stamp Set. This stamp set is available as wood mount, clear mount and digital download. I love this stamp set – it is one of my favorites! I was so happy to see it transition to the main catalog this past June! Ok, back to making the card – lol – finally I created a pennant and stamped the anchor (also from The Open Sea stamp set) and the Thank You sentiment.
What’s so great about making this card digitally is that I made it once and had it printed 20 times! I’m not hand making 20 individual cards BUT the card is my original creation! With My Digital Studio you can print your projects at home or have them printed by Stampin’ Up!’s professional printing service. If you use the professional printing service then the colors are guaranteed to match Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive colors.
