I am leaving for the 2012 Stampin’ Up! Annual Convention in 1 week! I am so excited! One of the things we do while at convention is swap card fronts. Swapping is just like trading. I created a pretty simple swap this year featuring the brand new Elegant Butterfly Punch. Have you seen this punch yet?
I love, love, love this punch! Don’t you? My inspiration for my swap card came out on the new 2012 Stampin’ Up! catalog. On page 190 of the catalog there is a very pretty butterfly thank you card. I gave that card my own little spin and came up with this birthday card.
What do you think? It is super simple and clean. My color combination includes: Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo. I used the birthday greeting from the Curly Cute stamp set (available in both wood mount and clear mount). BTW I love this stamp set too! I am using it over and over again. It is a must have set! I used the Big Shot along with the Framed Tulip embossing folder to emboss the Whisper White card base.
To give the butterflies a little more dimension I used the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack punched a coordinating flower and added a Basic Rhinestone.
I really appreciate your feedback and comments. If you’ve never left a comment before all you have to do is to click on the title of the post, scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your comment in the comment box. Sometimes comments may take a little while to appear.

Thanks Sara! I think this is one of my most favorite cards!
