The new 2012-2013 Stampin’ Up! catalog is here! Ander over the past few days I have been sharing with you my favorite new stamp sets. You can check out the posts by clicking here for sets 1 – 5 and here for sets 6 – 10. Today we are going to take a look at my top 10 new designer series papers, tools, and embellishments from the 2012-2013 Stampin’ Up! Catalog! We have a lot to cover, so let’s get started with the Designer Series Papers!
#1 – Fan Fair Designer Series Paper (p. 165)
The Fan Fair DSP is part of the Fan Fair Product Suite and includes the following colors: Basic Gray, Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, More Mustard, Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, and Very Vanilla. It has a vintage feel and is perfect for all of your vacation scrapbooking especially if you have been to Paris! There is a great Eifel Tower image on 1 of the papers. I also really like the coordinating Travel Journal builder wheel!
#2 – Pinwheels on Parade Simply Scrappin’ Kit (p. 168)
This is a great scrappin’ kit! It is fun, bright, and playful! The Pinwheels on Parade Simply Scrappin’ Kit coordinates with the following colors: Baja Breeze, Midnight Muse, Riding Hood Red, and Summer Starfruit. You will use this kit for scrapbook pages about flying kites, birthday parties, and summer picnics.
#3 – Firm Foam Classic Stampin’ Pads (p. 152-156)
The Stampin’ Up! Classic Ink Pads just had a make over and you will love the changes! They are now made with a firm foam pad instead of felt. The firm foam will give you better ink coverage for your stamps. I really like these new ink pads. I have found that you don’t need to press as hard on the ink pad when you are stamping. I would suggest practicing on some scrap paper until you get the “feel” for it.
#4 – Stitched Satin Ribbon (p. 172)
The Stitched Satin Ribbon includes 4 rows of stitches through satin. It is available in all 5 new 2012-2014 In Colors.
#5 – Stampin’ Spritzer (p. 179)
If you love the Color Spritzer Tool as much as I do, then you will love the new Stampin’ Spritzers! Use the Stampin’ Spritzer with water and re-inkers to create your own spritzer! It is great for spritzing large areas and for watercoloring. I can’t wait to get my hands on these!
#6 – Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack (p. 181)
Now you can use these super cool templates to create patterns and grids on your paper crafting projects! The pack comes with 3 different templates and some coordinate with punches and Framelit dies.
#7 – Elegant Butterfly Punch (p. 184)
Attention all butterfly lovers, do I have the punch for you! You are going to love, love, love the new Elegant Butterfly Punch! I know I will be using this punch all of the time! It is great for cards, scrapbook pages and more!
#8 – Chevron Embossing Folder (p. 189)
Chevrons are all the rage! You are seeing them everywhere in paper crafting and on clothing, handbags and more!
#9 – Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies (p. 191)
The new Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies are a set of 4 dies that coordinate with the World Treasures stamp set and Layered Labels stamp set. These die cuts would make great journaling spots on a scrapbook page and wonderful mats on cards.
#10 – Large Scallop Edgelits (p. 190)
I love the Large Scallop Edgelit for the Big Shot! The scallop is larger than the Scallop Edge Border Punch. This die works best with a single sheet of paper.

great minds think alike! I had a hard time narrowing down my list here to only 10 items! It sounds like you need to host a private party and get some stuff for free!

I went through the catalog last night and I'm surprised how many of these favorites are also my favorites!!!!
I need the new "in colors" stamp pads ... I hope I don't have to replace all my old stamp pads with the new foam ones.
I love the Pinwheels on Parade paper.
The Chevron embossing folder and the apothecary accents are high on my list!!
The butterfly punch and the new ribbon are favorites, too.
I also really like the "Carry On" hostess set...hmmmmmm....
