Sale-A-Bration 2012 begins in 1 week on Jan 24. This year the offerings are over the top fantastic! You certainly will not be disappointed! Over the next week I am going to share with you a variety of projects featuring Sale-A-Bration products!
Before I show you the projects I created with the Fresh Vintage stamp set. Let me explain what Sale-A-Bration is. Sale-A-Bration is Stampin’ Up!’s biggest sale of the year. For every $50 you spend (before tax, s/h) you get 1 FREE Sale-A-Bration item! But there is more – this year when you host a Stampin’ Up! party and have $150 in guest sales (before tax, s/h), you get a really pretty shopping tote for FREE – have $400 in guest sales and you will also earn a hostess exclusive bundle! In addition for all my Sale-A-Bration hostesses, as a thank you I am having a special hostess only event in April. There will be snacks, games, giveaways and of course stamping!
But there is even more! There is no better time to join my Stampin’ Up! team then during Sale-A-Bration! First of all the demonstrator starter kit is on sale. For $125 you can join my team – that’s $50 OFF the regular price! Plus when you join during Sale-A-Bration you get a FREE paper pack or digital download every month for the rest of the year! Now let’s get to the Fresh Vintage projects! The Fresh Vintage stamp set contains 5 stamps and it coordinates nicely with the new Sale-A-Bration Everyday Enchantment designer series paper, ribbon and brads.
This first card would be great for Valentine’s Day. I used the Everyday Enchantment DSP and brads along with the floral image from the Fresh Vintage stamp set. The “I love you” sentiment is from the Three Little Words stamp set.
The next card also uses the floral image from the Fresh Vintage stamp set along with the Peach Parfait patterned paper from the Everyday Enchantment DSP. To create the scallop on the Peach Parfait card stock I used the new Adoring Accents Edgelits die and the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing folder for the Big Shot machine. The “thank you” sentiment is from the Thank You Kindly stamp set.
The last project I have to share with you today is a photo holder. One of my friends gave me a few of these over sized clothes pins. I thought it would make a neat photo holder. I used the postage stamp from the Fresh Vintage stamp set to create the tag and I used 2 of the floral images to create the back ground paper. The larger flower was stamped in Soft Suede and the smaller flower was stamped in Pool Party. I then used the color spritzer tool and a Lucky Limeade marker to add a little green splatter to the card. The 1/8” organdy Lucky Limeade ribbon is from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad pack.
I know you are going to love all of the Sale-A-Bration offerings! Be sure to check back tomorrow when we take a look at a neat project using the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper!
Happy scrapping!
Jessica
