A few months ago one of my Facebook fans asked if I would make a video regarding how I pack up my scrapping gear for a crop weekend. A couple weeks ago when I went to the NJ Crop Weekends Fall crop, I videoed my packing process.
My YouTube video begins with a brief tour of my crafting space. My area is an alcove in the kids’ playroom and measures 6ft x about 10ft. There is 1 wall of shelves and two 6 foot tables. One of the tables I use for my desk and the other ismy cutting station for my die cutting systems and paper trimmer. As you will see I store most everything in containers and bins that can travel with me when I go to a crop, class, or workshop. By storing my supplies in portable containers, it makes it easy to just grab and go.
When going to a crop I plan out the projects I am going to work on. Based on that list, I find it very helpful to create project kits. Check out my blogging series on how I plan for a crop weekend for all the details:
So I’m all packed, are you wondering what I do with all my gear and supplies once I’m at a crop? Check out my blog post and YouTube video: How I set up my workspace at a scrapbooking crop
