This past month it has been a challenge keeping up with My Project 365 photo suggestion list. I have taken photos almost every day but not all of the suggested photos. Here are some of my favorites.
The first set of pictures is of thirds. This was a suggested topic in July. For my interpretation I took 3 consecutive photos of our barn. I really like the two off-set photos. I wish the middle photo came out better but I guess this is a learning process, right??? Project 365 really makes you look at taking pictures differently. It challenges you to think outside the box and take pictures using different settings, angles, and lighting.
In August each daily challenge is a favorite. I think I will be able to catch up with August and get back on track. Here is a favorite food – cupcakes! Who doesn’t like cup cakes! They are just so yummy. These were the cupcakes from my daughter’s birthday party. We got them from a local cupcake shop.
Here is another favorite, well one of my favorite flowers a sunflower! We planted them for the first time this year. We got three seeds to take and here is our first sunflower blooming. Isn’t it pretty! I just love sunflowers they are so cheery and happy.
I’ve taken a series of photos of the sunflower sprouting with my daughter next to it. Of course at first it was shorter than her, then the same size and now it is towering over her. It is going to make a really cool scrapbook page. The kids have loved watching the garden grow and they have really enjoyed harvesting the different vegetables and herbs. I have a feeling next year our little deck garden will be a little bit larger.
